In this section I’d like to introduce the Friends of the Museum. What is it that they do? What do the Friends get in return.

This introduction talks about the reasons why people should volunteer at the museum; to dive into local history, make new friends, get involved with the local community, or even meet some of the weird and wonderful secrets of Kingswood and South Gloucestershire.

We are always looking for people to join our passionate team of volunteers, to assist with a number of tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the Museum and providing our visitors a great experience.
Even if you only have 1-2 hours a week to spare, we’d love to hear from you.

We are currently looking for more volunteers for our Cafe. This is the perfect role if you like meeting people, can make a great cup of tea or coffee.
