Kingswood Heritage Museum is dedicated to celebrating the rich local history of the historic Kingswood Chase area. Our diverse collections span across archaeological, industrial and social histories as well as contemporary life.
We are located at the site of William Champion’s 18th century brassworks in Warmley, which was once one of the most successful industrial sites in England.
Today we are Arts Council England accredited and the largest independent museum in South Gloucestershire, featuring inspiring displays for the whole family. Our museum is managed and run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers and has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
This is the section to promote the tours/visits for academia, as well as introducing the research archives for students, the media/press, and local historians.

In this section I’d like to introduce the people behind the organisation, to help it feel more grounded in the community and celebrate the volunteers who make everything possible.

Locally-made cakes, cups of tea, places to catch up with old friends and make new ones too.
The museum cafe is open on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 2pm and 5pm. Cash and card payments are available.
